Meet Amy
A Trusted Voice For Sycamore

I am a proud wife and mom of two amazing kids in the Sycamore School District, a committed volunteer, and someone who deeply believes in the power of connection.
Over the past several years, I’ve dedicated countless hours to strengthening our schools—leading the Symmes PTO, contributing to district projects as a member of the Sycamore Advisory Commission, and supporting the vital work of teachers and staff. I believe that when we show up for each other, we all grow stronger.
Alongside this personal commitment, I bring twenty years of professional experience in education and business. My career has taken me through K–12 schools, post-secondary institutions, and career training programs—beginning as a classroom teacher, advancing into school operations and leadership as Director of Education, and ultimately serving as Campus Director.
This background gives me the knowledge and perspective to balance strong financial stewardship with decisions that put students first. Through fiscal responsibility, we can keep Sycamore sustainable while continuing to provide students and teachers with the support they need to thrive.
My campaign is guided by a simple but powerful belief: we must See the Good in our schools, our students, and one another—and always strive to AIM HIGHER. That means building on Sycamore’s strengths, investing taxpayer dollars wisely, and creating a culture where every child has the opportunity to succeed.

A Moment of Recognition
The Altitude Awards were created to celebrate individuals who go above and beyond to strengthen our schools and community. Receiving the Community Impact Award is a milestone I will cherish—not for the spotlight on me, but for what it says about the power of collaboration, care, and commitment to our students and families.
